Today I watched last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live with Jim Carrey while playing X Stretch on the computer. It gets a little uncomfortable when you’re in the middle of the seated spinal stretch and can’t stop laughing! I guess it’s a lot of exhaling, so it could be benefitial!
I’m feeling pretty good today. My calves are very tight and my butt is on fire, but other than that, I feel like a champ! I was pretty tight going into these hamstring stretches as well, but once I got a couple of minutes in, things really began to loosen up.
Remember that stretching is actually a small workout! You’re making micro-tears in those muscles and you’ll build upon. So when you have some extra time, do some stretches!
