Today was Total Body Plus from P90X Plus DVD Set. It’s what you’d expect from the name, a workout of the whole body at once without specific time isolating body parts. What this also means is that you’re not having to wait around and give your muscles time to rest. There’s always another exercise you could be doing.
This one is a real ball buster. Some of the moves are actually going to get harder as I get better as doing them. The reason is that some of them require more balancing such as the Mr Moon or require a lot of … foldability? (tucking your knees to your chest). I spend more time trying to balance or walk my legs through than actually hitting reps. Once I get past the sticky parts, it’ll all work!
No specific abs workout today as it’s part of the total body…
I did attempt a short run today as well. It was… well… very short. I basically started around the lake, found the first place to get off the trail, then ran the road back home. Maybe half a mile 🙂 My legs were still blown out from yesterday’s Interval Plus. Rest is best.
