It’s easy when you miss a few posts and workouts to stop posting altogether. That’s what happening right now. It thought I would be able to get through a round of P90X Plus while caring for a brand new puppy…
WRONG! Man, did I even underestimate the amount of attention required at 8 weeks of age. Waking up a couple of a times a night after he finally fell asleep after hours of crying alone in his crate really takes a toll on you! No sleep = no P90X for me. I’ve aborted this round.
I’ve been pretty inactive for the past couple of months. I’ve got a new girl in my life that I tend to spend every free moment with. There’s a been a state fair and all sorts of fall festivities to partake in. It hasn’t been pretty!
I’m not gaining much weight, though I am getting a bit soft. I’m still making the occassional trip to the gym with more frequent half-assed work outs at home while watching TV. This isn’t going to change quite yet, but soon! The puppy is getting big enough that he can be left in the crate for longer periods of time and can run we me for short distances. I’m slowly working back into it.
I’ve got P90X2 to prepare for! I’m NOT going in cold. I’m going to be doing lots of stability workouts, stretching, cardio, and total body workouts. I’m expecting this to happen just after Thanksgiving.
