Today is Legs and Back. I haven’t posted my schedule yet, but starting next week I’ll be modifying my Friday workout to include another chest workout. For this week, though, it’s straight up Legs and Back.
An old friend showed up today during this workout. Senior Forearm Pain. He shows up mostly during close grip overhand pull ups. It hurts real deep in there once I finish or remove my weight from the bar. It takes a while for it to start to hurt. Usually half way through the entire workout. It makes my numbers toward the end really (2 on the final set of pull ups) because I have to bail out.
After doing a bit of digging, it seems that I may be developing tendinitis. I’m going to ice and take some ibuprofen. Maybe I should schedule a doctor’s visit. All of my keyboard time probably doesn’t help much either.
