Today was shoulders and arms and I’m on a mission to make the lines on my chart go up! I had a lot of sets last week where I was doing 12 reps. Well since that’s the most you really want to be doing in order to get bigger, I upped the weight on nearly every exercise. Too many times I get lazy (during a p90x workout, what?) and instead of changing out the weight on the PowerBlocks, I just stick with what’s there so I don’t have to hit pause.
Well today I didn’t even hit play. That is, I worked out without the video. Nothing in this routine is timed, so once you know the routine forwards and backwards, it’s not vital that you watch it. Just make sure you get done in a timely fashion and attempt to keep your heart rate elevated.
So check out the graph, it’s up! I really dug in today and still no shoulder pain. Check back tomorrow to see if it stays that way (gulp).
