Well the first round of Plyometrics is out of the way. A couple of thoughts…
- Mary Katherine’s after Jump Knee Tucks is not very nice.
- What is Jump Gap supposed to do for me again?
Today’s biggest challenge was actually fighting through the hip flexor soreness from the Ab Ripper X workout yesterday! Pretty hard to bring those knees way up. I’m anxious to get past that hump. Been there before, will do it again.
I was able to do all of the moves to completion today. I’ll admit I didn’t go as low as I may have in the past on some of the moves. That’s about normal for me starting a new round. If I go all the way down, I tend to tweak a hamstring. So I’ll do what is comfortable early in the program and then just push it a little further each weak. I have the same approach to weighted bar squats as well.
Drank my recovery drink. Drank the protein. My eyeballs are now floating and I’m eating a lean dinner of chicken and eggs. The diet was right on today. Had a chicken salad at Hooters today. They actually make a pretty clean salad minus the croutons and just dipping the dressing.
Later, kids!

I’ll continue to post here from your Day 1 entry…
Yeah vodka right. After a two holiday weekend, I know that I do need to “Bring It” a bit more since I really did not do much control on my eating these past two weekends and ohhhh… The beers…. O_o. Also, I’ll be going back to my home country for about 4 days and that absolutely ensures that I won’t be able to do any workout. So much things to do and really need the extra time to enjoy with friends and my fiancee. By the time I get back, I will be starting my Phase II. I plan to really push myself harder this time if I really do want to see good results and to really make up with the exercise and diet skipping.
By the way, I didn’t notice that you post any pictures of you prior to your 2011 Round of P90X. I saw the pics from your previous post and man, I’m really motivated with the results that you got specially with the comparison of yourself from a few years back.
Looking forward to reading more about your progress.

Haha, I was posting the before photos as you were typing this it seems.
Don’t sweat the break too much. We’ve still got lives to live, if we can’t afford to take a break, we’ve got no chance! There’s no magic number to the 90 days. If it takes 97 days or 104 days, so be it!
