Is the hard part of the Crouching Cohen Curls supposed to be the crouching?? Doing those 1 day after the first round of plyo for the year is killer!
Alright, for the most part, I brought it. I did pay particular attention to Upright Rows and all of the palm-up curls. I went with a relatively light weight on the rows. I’m still a little timid since my rotator cuff issues last year. That impingement took a very long time to get over. For the curls, I tended to turn my palms in slightly on any of them that were normally palms facing up. This gives me more of a natural motion and puts less stress on my wrist. I spent most of the last month resting my wrist due to some tendinitis caused from such moves. I’m not going to hurt myself this round.
Still, I achieved some good hypertrophy in the biceps. Hard to make any kind of muscle there right now. I’m just stacking on the pain for the end of the week, when I will be comatose.
Ab Ripper X. Ugh. Well, I did … some of it. I’m just still hurting pretty bad from Monday’s workout. I got about half way through again before I just held my stomach and rolled around on the ground for a while. I imagine it will be next Monday before I head back into it without being sore. At least I hope it’s that soon…
