It was just one beer! It was right after work and before I had worked out for the day! Uh oh… Ah well, it wasn’t too bad. I was a Michelob Ultra, so pretty light.
I still did my workout. All of it. And my numbers got better. I had about an hour between beer and Legs and Back. I’m just glad I kept my eye on the prize and one beer didn’t lead to another and I didn’t end up just convincing myself that it’ll just be my rest day this week and shift everything back one day. That’s a slippery slope, friends!
So like I said before, Legs and Back is about the roughest workout for me. My legs burn so much and it’s one of the only workouts where I work up a good sweat. I was concerned about getting a stitch in my side as a result, but all was well. I even took my pre-workout drink with no problem.
Only did about half the ab workout though… I dunno, I just seemed extra worn out in the hip flexor region.
Still on track!
