Today was a late workout again, but this time it involved no jumping to disturb the downstairs neighbors. Quite the opposite in fact. It’s Yoga day. The first day of my “rest” week.
I saw Tony has another Yoga video in his One on One series called Patience Hummingbird Yoga. I decided to give it a try.
This a very relaxing Yoga workout. There weren’t a whole lot of moves, but those that there there were held for a long time. He also didn’t talk much. He would do minimal explanations on one side of the move, then be completely silent (other than breathing) for the other half. This made for a relaxing workout, but I had to keep checking where he was less i get left behind.
I really enjoyed this version of the Yoga workout and, dare I say it, I was sad it was over so soon. Well, it was only 30 minutes long and I’m left feeling guilty. My Yoga routines are getting shorter and shorter. I’m going to have to do something extra tomorrow to make up for it.
I feel like this will be a nice disk to use as a supplemental workout at times that will also improve my balance for the full yoga workouts.
FYI. At the beginning of the video, Tony calls the routine “Patience Yoga”. During one of the movements, a hummingbird flies up to the window and he spends some time admiring it while I sweat and strain in warrior two. Fly away bird! I want to put my arms down!
