Core Synergistics seems awfully hard for this so-called “Rest Week”. There are a few moves that cause me discomfort that I took it easy on. Dreya rolls are always rough for me because I can’t make myself into a very tight ball just yet (gut’s in the way), so I only did a couple of those. The Table Dip Leg Raise is pretty tough on my wrists, so I didn’t do any. I’m very sensitive about my right wrist and shoulder.
The rest of the moves just seemed to kick my shoulders’ asses! Yes, my shoulders have asses. I’ll show them to you for $1. So many plank moves was really wearing them out. But that’s just what I need! Plank movements are great rehabilitation moves for a rotator cuff injury.
All in all, I good workout. Worked up a good sweat. Got a good burn. Add on top the 30 minutes of elliptical I did at the gym during lunch to make up for a short yoga session yesterday, and I think this is an A+ day.
