I’ve been extra careful about disturbing my downstairs neighbor after she came knocking during my workout a few weeks ago. A rest week followed by a snow/work-from-home day helped. I could do my workout during the day when she’s at work (probably not, because she couldn’t get out either). Tuesday was another of the same.
I didn’t have a snow day (yet), but I did have to start work at 5:00am for an implementation. How did that help? That means I got off work around 2:30! A little sleepy from a short night’s rest, but still stoked to be done before everyone else, no matter that I worked the same amount. Getting off that early let me do my plyo long before any of my neighbors were home.
I’m still paying attention to landing softly, both for my knees and my neighbors. I’ve also started walking over close to an exterior wall to do Jump Knee Tucks and Rock Star Hops. Being closer to the supporting wall will cause less shaking. At least that’s my theory.
