There was a forecast last night that we would get some raid and then a few inches of snow. It was supposed to have started early this morning and should have been snowing by the time I got up. I leapt out of bed like a kid at Christmas to look out the window. To my dismay, there was no snow. Well damn. I shouldn’t have stayed up that late the night before. I was sure we were going to get dumped on…
Coffee, Redditt, turn on the news. What’s this? That’s an awfully lot of school closings, including my county! Apparently, although we didn’t get much snow, we got lots of ICE! Wahoo! Good enough for me. My rear wheel drive car with NOT work on ice. So it’s a snow day! Well… it’s a work from home day. Still better than going to work.
Working from home obviously allows me more flexibility of when I do workout. I can replace that commute time with sweat time. I started my workout around the end of the work day today. It was Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. One of my favorite workouts. But work would not stop either. On top of that, I was also working on defragging the computer I normally watch the videos on. So I decided to not use the DVD at all.
The workout took about twice as long as it normally would. I would do an exercise, respond to an email, do some pull-ups, respond to a message, repeat. This made the normal breaks in between sets much longer. As a result, my rep and weight count went way up. I had plenty of time to recover before blasting my biceps again. I’m going to have to keep that in mind next week when I get depressed as I can’t hit the same numbers as this week. Or can I?
