It’s that time again. Time for my checkup. Over the past month I’ll say I did quite a bit better with my regimen that I did in the previous round. I’ve done nearly every workout although work has been very busy. I did skip a lot of ab workouts, but hey, I’m not perfect! The diet was also much better. I’m getting plenty of calories as usual but that major differences is that I’m really paying attention to the carbs. Carbs are very ninja-like in the way they sneak into your diet. Croutons on the salad, a bigger bowl of cereal, that extra tortilla with the fajitas.
The results are starting to show. I can especially see it in the face, which is often the area where you first notice weight loss, according to websites like lizzardco.com. The midsection is showing some improvement, but that tire’s going to be the last to go. I notice changes that are not represented in these pictures. The more the body fat drops away, the more I see things like that second “V” in my triceps or those lines that start to show up on your shoulders when I flex.
I’ll start with the vitals

What we have here is a loss of body fat and a bit of lean mass. I was already fairly muscular underneath the fat at the start of this round, so not a whole lot of progress there. The thing to note here is the loss in body fat. That’s down 5.52lbs of fat, up .12 in lean mass, and 5.4 overall lbs loss.
