I had some trepidation starting this round of P90X Plus. I’ve been attempting to recover from some hand pain that’s been plaguing me all summer. It’s a pain that mostly hurts when I swing a club or a bat. It really put a hamper on my PGA aspirations! After seeing a specialist, I was told to … take ibuprofen, ice, and rest it! Brilliant! … So what do I do? Go rock climbing instead!
Well currently my left forearm just feel really sore and has for about two weeks. Oh well, lets see how it goes.
- Upper Plus
- 1.5 mile run
- Abs Core Plus
Upper core plus was a very sweaty workout. It’s hot a burn-the-hell-out-of-one-muscle-group kind of workout. It’s a lot of up and down, back to back, core and all upper muscles workout. I got this done during my lunch break.
When I got home from work, I did a short run (1.5 miles) as the trail I normally run was closed for the next few days for repairs. Plus it was 102 outside today. After the run and a short cool-down, it was Abs Core Plus. I couldn’t get through all of the moves. It wasn’t so much of a burn that I couldn’t take any longer, just that my legs would stop going up when requested! Should be nice and sore tomorrow.
Perfect, of course! What else would you expect on day one? The trick is keeping it up! Oatmeal in the morning, salad for lunch, steak for dinner, healthy snacks in between. All logged on Daily Burn.
