“Rest Week” is such a misleading name for this week. Core Synergistics is NOT rest! This bastard of a workout always has me begging to stop. It involves moves that I’m just really not flexible enough to do well. Chataranga run isn’t happening. My hips don’t open up that wide. Drey Roll isn’t happening because my gut keeps me from getting into a tight enough ball to get back up. And doing this workout with a sore midsection is just brutal! Of course which routine doesn’t abuse that area.
All in all, a good workout. This week is going well. My diet is holding up for the most part. I’ve been bringing hard boiled eggs and tuna packages to work for lunch. I was getting in the bad habit of reaching for a protein bar at every snack time.
I’ve found some very cool excel spreadsheets that I’ll be talking about later that I’m excited to start using as well.
