Today I did the workout that was supposed to have been done yesterday. This is one of my favorite workouts, Back and Biceps. I think one of the things I like about it is that I’m always up off the ground. I can work out and watch a good movie at the same time. This time I watched The Office and 30 Rock. Gotta be careful about laughing while you’re holding a lot of weight, though!
Part of being able to stand up is the ability to see your workout in a mirror. The mirror is a great tool to add to your arsenal. Don’t just THINK you’re keeping your elbows pointed down or your back straight. Look and see! Watching yourself in the mirror will give you that all to important form and you’ll really feel the burn. You also won’t be cheating as much as you can see yourself start to lean back or jerk the weights up. Pay attention! Plus you get to check out all of those neat new muscles you’ve got by now!
If you’ve oiled up your muscles before the workout for a better show, be sure to wash your hand thoroughly before grabbing the weights else you risk losing a toe.
For those of you keeping up, I’ve got good news. I didn’t experience any forearm pain after pull-ups today!
