Well I was able to do what I planned on doing. I did Yoga on Sunday while watching the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony. Instead of doing Yoga X, I replaced it with Fountain of Youth Yoga from the One on One with Tony Horton series once again. A nice relaxing 45 minutes. It’s just enough to get a sweat going without feeling completely incapable.
My flexibility has increased a lot since I started last year. It’s not something I had payed a whole lot of attention to and I slacked a lot on the yoga and stretching days. But I do stretch more every day as I go about my day. That’s often due to me being tight and sore in the hamstrings and I’ll just stretch it out when I wake up, at work, and while I’m watching TV at home. A year ago, I was a couple of inches from being able to reach my toes. Now I can comfortably pick at the callouses on the bottom of my heels during a stretch!
